Christmas Break

I have just enjoyed a nice two week break from school. I had lots of time to relax and spend time with my family, which I love. We started the break off with a party! Janice's 2nd Birthday party to be exact! I can't believe she is so old, but she definitely has good taste!

Us kids all comfy on the couch

Echo's baby blessing was the next thing on the list. I'm so grateful I got to spend so much time holding her. She is beautiful!

It was freezing all break! Which I was actually glad of because it hadn't felt like christmas time in Provo having been so warm. We kids took the chance to go out and play in all the new snow, and with Janice.

Doug and I made a snow man

We pulled Janice on the sled

Who knew making a snowman have a face would be so entertaining!

There was plenty of time for me to help mom dip the last of the fondants. Mmm... thanks for making them mom!

On "Chirstmas Adam" we had a Bethlehem dinner. It was an adventure to say the least!
Dallin, Erik and I had to unshell all the pine nuts... we had cooked them with the shells on the first time- whoops!

We ate Spinach puffs!! (Kronk from Emperors New Groove...)

There is the yummy dinner!

Christmas was next and it was great! We all slept in and didn't finish opening presents until around 3. It was great to talk to Bry, and being able to skype was even better. My favorite present was probably the book that "Santa" gave me, Europe on a shoestring, with $$ inside. Not that the book is my favorite, but the fact that it means my parents are supporting me in my desire to go on study abroad. That is probably the best news all break! and I finished my application today!

Echo looking quite festive :)

I played a lot of rock band, and did freaking amazing on the new guitar!

Lastly, the family went bowling and out to dinner, which was really fun.

Two sisters

It was a great break and I couldn't have asked for a better family to share it with! I am excited to be back at school, but do have a little bit of that "first day to school" feeling. I'm sure it will go away.... hopefully! haha but I am excited to be taking German, and to be back with my fun roommates. The best news about being back down here is that it looks like I just might be able to get a job. Karl brought an application over to me tonight! Hopefully that works out, as I begin another semester at BYU.

  1. How fun! I haven't seen half of these pictures--definitely need to get them from you. The pine nuts picture/memory made me laugh. That was pretty funny, we are so smart :)
